International Textiles Expo

On Monday and Tuesday Sandra and I went to the Textiles Expo at Bally's.

We chatted up sales people who were sad we weren't buying, but still very nice.

We had good lunch (day 2 was better) two days in a row that we didn't cook, serve or clean up!

Monday we walked the floor, looked at all the booths and got a feel for what was there.

Tuesday we spent more time at specific booths, writing down what we liked best, where it would be used, and in 2 cases getting TONS of samples!! Blingy trim is the BEST!

I found one seller who was willing to sell to me as long as I purchased $100 at a time. When I get paid for my current projects I will so be calling him!

I know it's random that pretty fabrics make me so happy but they really do. What makes me even happier is that it will be less expensive for me to make my dresses. I was on the verge of having to raise prices again and this will make it so I won't have to :)

It will be great to have a standard set of fabrics, dropped off at my front door, hopefully it won't cost a fortune to have them delivered...

Hooray for blingy trims and fabric delivery! Hooray for good lunches! Sounds like it was fun and productive, I am glad it went well.

That sounds like it was so so fun. You'll love fabric delivery. I find that I buy more stuff from Amazon because I can get it super fast and I don't have to haul ANYONE around. But then again, you don't have to haul anyone around anymore anyway. What's it like to have 6 hours all.to.yourself?
