Allergies

Fred came in from the back yard last night saying she got something in her eye. There were 7 of them out in my dirt pit so I figured it was just dirt. I couldn't see anything but it was pink so I sent her to wash her hands, face and rinse out her eyes. She came back and sat down to watch the movie I had put on so I didn't look at her again for 20 minutes when she came over to ask me something and I took one look at her, said "oh good grief" and she replied "what? I didn't even say anything". I was looking at this...

(actually I took the picture after I gave her the meds)

I ran for the benadryl and asked if her eyes were itchy. They were neon pink and the left one was getting majorly puffy. I couldn't figure out what had happened until I saw Jr. in the back yard with an armful of weeds. Suddenly it all clicked I asked Fred if she had been playing with the weeds and touched her face. Yes, sure enough that was it. I told her not to touch the weeds ever again and I told Jr. and George they shouldn't either.

She's fine this morning but is safe from weeding for a very long time! ElCid is going to take care of the weeds in the back yard as soon as possible.

I don't think its fair that George and Jr have to stay out of the weeds just cuz Fred has too. Its like not having a good Christmas tree in case of killing off one of the boys.

Poor cute puffy Fred... and what do you mean Tine... Nobles make the BEST Christmass Trees. Also, you should not be playing in the weeds anyway... they are full of bugs.

I am starting to doubt the weeds story. Is the real reason you haven't posted because CPS is investigating the REAL cause of that eye?
