Yesterday was the kickoff carnival for Pennies by the Inch at church. It is out on the blacktop at 5pm in 100 degrees but my kids LOVE it so we can't miss it. Last year it started at 4 I think and it was hotter then. This year it was hot and sunny for the first half hour but the building blocked the sun before too long. The Stake does a really good job. There are games, air brush face painting, spin art, a bouncy house and this year they added a couple characters as well. The girls enjoyed every millisecond of the free and endless cotton candy, sno-cones and fun. They also fed the kids corn dogs and tater tots with Capri sun so I didn't have to make dinner!

i've never heard of this interesting carnnival. i wanna know why our church has never had one!
This looks like so much fun! I am jealous. I have always wanted to meet the Finding Nemo crew
I guess Vegas is good for something after all. Utah does not do this as far as I can tell.
