Peter, Peter, Pumpkin Eater ...

Tomorrow is the annual school carving contest, I've won the last 4 years in a row but I'm not sure if I will have a winner tomorrow. I think the pumpkins look great but we'll have to see what the rest of the school thinks!

Fred is entering "Crime Spree" complete with bats flying inside.
Jr. is entering "Snowmany".
(No, she isn't past that naming phase in her life yet.)

George is entering "Duckie", next year she will be entering Monkey.
fyi - spray paint sticks better to fake white pumpkins than fake orange pumpkins.

Fred also has a book report due tomorrow on an explorer,
she was assigned John Cabot.

He sailed to modern day Canada in 1497.

Vote for Ducky! Okay, they are all cute, but the duck made me giggle. So that's my vote.

I love the book report. And while I understand the reason for fake pumpkins, real ones are sooo much cooler!

I like all of their pumpkins, they are all very cute!

P.S. For some of us naming things isn't just a phase....

P.P.S. When you say you've won the contest it sounds like the girls didn't make the pumpkins themselves....

I like Snomanny! He is a fusion of two of the greatest holidays EVER! Also, it's obvious that a lot of hard work and planning went into him. Ducky and Crime Spree are fun too!

What a fun school tradition! I love traditions! All three of your girls are very creative and talented like you. Jr. is very creative with naming things. I may have to get her to help me with some of my things. Great job girls!

All the pumpkins are super cute, but I like Jr.'s. Its like nightmare before christmas-y. It should double as a Christmas decoration.

What a great job, girls!!! You're all first prize winners in my book! You are so creative and talented....what a smart idea to use fake pumpkins so you don't get all that goo on you :) Love you!!!

I'm so impressed with the use of "fake" pumpkins. Each one is so unique and so cute. How do you girls come up with these ideas? Sarah likes Snowmanny. She said "Let's make one like that!" We are working on our cinderella coach for tomorrow's ward party - wish us luck!
