Homesick

I will have lived in Vegas for 11 years at the ends of June. That is the longest I've ever lived anywhere. I have acclimated to a certain degree and I get along fine the end of September through the beginning of May ... the rest of the year I'm hot and grouchy and live in my dark cave.
Being home in Washington always makes me homesick to come back. I miss the weather, I miss the places to go and all those things I like to do.
I know ElCid feels similarly about St. George but I've lived in a place that isn't my favorite for 11 years. I think it's his turn to suffer a little bit ;)

Now if I could just get rid of my house ... and brainwash my handsome man ... that's a lot to plan for!

I will begin looking up brainwashing websites for you!

Then I'll look into getting someone to buy your house for more than you paid for it. That will have to wait til Nan gets the brainwashing down, I think, sorry.

I see Mt Rainier and I know what is missing in my life! (NO, Not a dictionary!) It is worst the weekend after Thanksgiving (time to pay $2 for a permit to go out and cut your Christmas tree) and ANYTIME I think of Aunt Sandy&Uncle Larry or Scout's mom! *sigh*

Werty and I compromised to the point that he would be willing to live in Oregon...but I don't really see him leaving his family in Provo.

I am glad that at least you have one place that makes you feel homesick, considering how many places you have lived. I hope you hugged Susan for both of us tonight!

Am I the only one to notice that the last pic is the best-scenery wise?

I have to agree with Kathy. However, St. George only looks that way for 2 months of the year :)

You two should compromise and come live somewhere hot, clowdy, and flat...like Maryland. ;)
