We MEANT to go

That was the plan anyway.

We prepped the kids that they were going to do this (Stake Conference). We went to bed "early" so we'd be ready to go too. But nowhere in all the planning did I remember that last night was the night. Ya know the night to change the clocks. Oops. I also didn't remember this morning when I woke up at 8:45 happy I was able to sleep in cause it didn't start until 10 and then at 8:59 according to the clock on the stove ElCid asks from the computer what time it is. For one brief moment I was confused and then it hit me. That was last night!! ElCid never remembers that Bush played ruler of the universe and changed when we change our clocks (why didn't he just do away with it all together?) so at least I was closer to remembering than he was ...right...I get some points for that right???

So needless to say we didn't make it. The kids even acted disappointed. Apparently they were looking forward to coloring at church for 2 hours. *sigh* I am very annoyed, the time used to change during General Conference and they were so good to remind people repeatedly to change their clocks. Oh well at least my kids weren't late for school on Monday!

Just like we meant to get to church on time today. Did it happen? NO.

Lucky for me, church isn't until 1:00. So even without one hour, I still got to be lazy in the morning.

At least you tried:)
