Then again maybe not...

Luck seemed to be on my side. The colds seemed to be going away and Fred and Jr seemed to be untouched (go Airborne), until today.

It is a beautiful day, overcast, rainy, and cold. A fabulous combination if you're longing for the Northwest. Not such a great combination if you're trying to keep kids healthy.

George is starting to have green boogers and her sneezes are coming from deeper in her chest. Jr also seems to be getting green boogers.

We will not be going to Utah for Thanksgiving.

I would have no problem taking slightly sick kids except Kafra is very asthmatic. She is perfectly healthy this week. I do not want to take my kids and have her get sick and or hospitalized in the near future. I just can't have that on my conscience. I'm not being dramatic either, simple colds for average kids have sent Kafra into the hospital 3 times now.

We are going to stay here, I have most of the stuff for dinner, George and I will get the rest today and we'll have Thanksgiving with just us. I'm looking forward to a nice, slow, cozy kind of day!

No fun. I'm sure you'll be missed for Thanksgiving. Enjoy a relaxing at-home holiday with the girls. Can't wait to see you in December :)

slow and cozy is nice... I plan to have a rerun after Buh and Le get here! Thanksgiving traditions are very different from family to family but the nice part is that you get exposed to new ideas, some even worth trying out ;-}
