Dating: No Guts No Glory

I taught the dating lesson today at church.

I don't have this book any longer but I read it and it was funny. I can't even find a picture of the cover with the really great 90's outfit. (My SIL found this updated version)There's a guy dressed as a clown in it and he wants to ask a girl out. Like I said it's been years, it just fit my train of thought for the day.

We are also dog sitting for the next several days. ElCid's client from BC is going away to LA for Dr. visits and asked if the girls would like Chico to come and play here until they get back. OF COURSE they do so he'll be here until about Thursday. Sorry Flo, no trips here for Kafra until he's gone...he's a Chihuahua.

Last night we dropped the kids off at Babysitter Barbie's house and she and Ken watched them while ElCid and I went to dinner at Famous Dave's and then saw Quantum of Solace. The food was great and the movie...well it was a James Bond movie, screeching car chases, the girl who slept with him died, the one who didn't lived, murder, intrigue, plot twists, well actually there weren't many of those because the plot was a little flat. It was a fun time and the girls had a BLAST!! Thanks again Barbie & Ken. :)

I can't believe you ruined the movie for me! Luckily, I have already seen enough James Bond movies to know the drill :)

I actually tried to find a copy of that book a few years back. I swear I saw a copy with a new updated cover at Deseret Book, and when I went back 6 months later, the sales girl had never heard of it. One of the drawbacks of Deseret Book, limited printings. It was too bad, because I wanted to give it to my little sister before she turned 16.

Just fyi, SAK&SJSK,MG &JG went to Fireproof and recommend it highly. Apparently even SAK teared up... wish I had been there to see that!
Never read No Guts, No Glory... and I thought I had read most of what you kids brought home!
