In other news...

It was 100 day! When you get the whole month of October and March off it takes a while to get to 100. Jr. did a 100 day collection and she wanted 100 different fabrics. I barely even had to go to the garage to collect them all. I skipped all the "plain" satin I had lying around, she wanted fancy fabrics. :)
Apparently my 7 year stint in Primary was long enough because I officially became the Laurel adviser yesterday. I have to admit that when the guy told me what they wanted me to do a wave of panic and fear washed over me. The young women are a group that I have happily avoided since we moved into the ward. I'm not sure if I can really do this.

These people actually have opinions, they have a critical eye and they can be mean and spiteful. Flo pointed out that I won't be one of them that I will be a leader this time and I told her that I was talking about the way my leaders had been treated! I was quite the goody goody but the others girls, well they weren't!

I went in to talk to the leaders yesterday and the president (the former Primary Secretary) is excited to have me and one of other leaders I recognize but not the other. They were of the opinion that YW is better than Primary, I beg to differ. I have yet to meet the rest of the leadership but this is going to take a lot of faith... and courage!

I think the Orange Rock Star is done, once he's approved I get to move on the Sleeping Beauty, something I can do in my sleep (or medicine induced haze), YAY!

I am so jealous! I have been in YW for the past 18 months or so and just LOVED it. I loved being a leader, being in charge and just getting to know them on a different level. They just released me this Sunday and I am sad to go. You'll have a great time!
