I picked the last 4 grapefruits from my tree today. I got stabbed a
few times, but no blood :) They are bigger than the others that I had
but the same color so I don't know what the difference was. I'm just
happy it grew anything at all! I didn't weigh the others but they were
about the size of oranges. These four weighed in at just over a pound, 2
at 15+ oz and one at 14+ oz.
They look great. I remember certain people who thought you were crazy for growing a grapefruit tree in the living room. Oh they of little faith. As fruit trees mature, they should produce more/bigger ones. Plus they produce in cycles, "on" and "off" years. Let's hope that someday your "on" year will be enough for everyone to have their own grapefruit. :P
there were 7 in all so her tree is an over achiever when it comes to growing enough for the whole family. She had picked 3 the first time around "They are bigger than the others that I had..." and "I didn't weigh the others..." xoxoxox

You must live somewhere really dry and hot to still have fruit! :)
Yeah it's like freezing at my house! And there are 6 of you. You should tell your tree to grow 6.
