ElCid's brother borrowed my car today to do some driving around, it just worked out that way.
When we were headed home and went out to the car Fred with a slightly horrified and shocked expression asked where was the widow or what happened to it as she stood next to the passenger front door. I was a little bit confused and let her know Uncle John had simply rolled it down to let hot air out as it sat in Grandma's mini parking lot. She was quite relived and said that she was worried it had broken like the other one or someone had robbed our car.
I had to stifle a laugh, never ever would we leave our car anywhere with the windows down, it's just not safe. In Utah however people come and go and there isn't much fear of it being robbed in broad daylight. Earlier today her Grandma left her keys in the ignition of her car for nearly an hour and nothing happened, that's just where they live.
My cute little city kids, somethings are just beyond their comprehension.

Yep, and after my years here in "northern Utah" I am going to have to relearn caution when I move! I'll keep Fred on my speed dial ;-} xoxoxox
When I picked up my car last week I was very freaked out to see the car keys were on the seat, not in the glove box and that while the car was locked the passenger window was all the way down. I realize it was Kamiah not south Tacoma, but still...
