Working for the weekend

Or more accurately for Friday at 11:40 when I pick up George and take Fred and Jr. out early and we drive away to Phoenix! I was just going to get them right after school but decided the road is having loads of construction on it and knowing my luck leaving early is probably better.

I'm so close to being done with All Shook Up that I can almost smell the money due to me. ;)

It was report card day and I discovered that I'm a very strict Mommy when it comes to grades. I was looking over Fred's report card (her teacher gave it to me early) while waiting for George on the K playground and I was making a face because she has dropped a few percentage points in everything except for reading. When I was asked what the problem was, I explained and D was all - Hello! It's still straight A's! I agreed but said losing a few points is still losing ground and I'm kind of concerned. She looked at me like I was a tad bit crazy and E agreed, straight A's is straight A's what ever percentage it says!

While Dumb Dog is not my favorite ...member... of our household I do think it must be trying at times to have an owner like George who sees no problem loving him in all sorts of ways.
He's really good about playing with her and just steers clear whenever he's not interested.

I saw the cutest swimsuit at Macy's today but I'm betting I'd need to lose 40 lbs to fit into a large and I really can't justify spending $94 on a suit when I don't live by the beach and don't have a pool. Maybe when it goes on sale... right after I get fake boobs to fill it out ...



I'll be watching for a good sale ... they also had it in black.
