Um, no! A big no! Eight is way too young for New Moon. I have lots of opinions that I will keep to myself on this one. Oh wait, maybe this is an idea for a blog post on mine!
Oh, on second thought, maybe I want to teach my eight-year-old girl to be so obsessed with a boy that she lets him control her every move, sneak into her bed at night, and ditch all her girlfriends. Not to mention the fact that she can't function for four months after getting dumped! Perfect.

Gah...I can't believe it! This is not something an 8 year old should be thinking about. No My Little Ponies or Barbies or something? As for letting my kid go, I'd have to know what her mom planned on doing before I could RSVP.
