George's Robot

My sweet little George has probably been told the most often out of all my kids in her short little life that she has to hold on, wait a minute, not right now, in a minute, let me finish and all the other variations on that theme. I know I'm a terrible Mom for making her wait I'm cool with that.

Today was more of the same. We did play Wii after running the errands I had to get done after picking her up from school and it was fun but before we did that I was on the computer. Again. Like always. Except for when I'm at the sewing machine.

She knew that the Wii game was coming and to keep herself busy she built a robot with the big package of TP she carried in from the car.

Isn't she just darling? The TP is her head with lots of eyes, like Wall-E. The curvy wire (bucket handle) is her arms, she's going to do her hair (multi-colored hair ties on a ring), which you can see in the picture below under her (pink LPS carrier) hat. Her Robot is of course a fashion and wears her sunglasses on her head because her eyes are too big for them. The pencils (green lines on the floor) are her feet and after she finishes her hair she is going to play basketball for exercise.

After I finally finished all my boring stuff on the computer and ooohed and awwwed over her Robot we played Wii and had a great time together. She is such a character these days and I love spending time with her once I get past that rrreeeaaaalllllyyyy lllloooonnnggg minute.

you let George know that Aunt Tami thinks she did a Fabulous job and that I knew what everything was (eyes, arms, ect.) even without your commentary.

Grammy LOVES the sunglasses! George's robot has a very good sense of fashion and should teach me how to dress. I already know how to play basketball so we should get together sometime!(After I get home from work)

You aren't a terrible mom for making her wait - you are teaching your child patience and how to entertain herself, those are good things!
